Brain Injury Regional School Support Teams (BIRSST) are organized regionally in Nebraska to provide consultative services to individuals who have experienced brain injury, as well as their schools and families.

Central BIRSST members are available to provide:

Strategies to support students in school and home communities
Support for teachers in planning for educational needs of students and assisting with behavioral issues
Assistance in locating resources, materials, and assistive technology
Training
